Accounting - General, 3+ years of accounting experience

Company Background - Fast growing, highly entrepreneurial and dynamic organization operating in the field of education seeks a experienced bookkeeper to assist the organization in achieving its aggressive growth plans. Located in Midtown East.

 

Responsibilities will include: Accounts payable, including: check requests, invoices and purchase orders Processing of payroll (including set up of new employees) Data entry of certain A/P and Cash receipts to GL system Recording accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger Development and maintnance of financial records, spreadsheets, and files

 

Job Requirements: Bachlors Degree - preferably in Accounting Knowledge of QuickBooks Software Experience with Excel Spreadsheets Strong analytical & problem solving skills Ability to meet deadlines and stay organized in a fast paced environment Ability to communicate effectively.
