Accounting Division Manager Function
The Accounting Division Manager will manage certain processes related to investment financial analysis as well as, ensure compliance with accounting, reporting and regulatory requirements. Primary focus-areas will be to manage particular processes of our client’s operational structure, valuations, income recognition and yield validation.



Accounting Division Manager ResponsibilitiesOversee, manage, and coordinate key investment related financial analysis in support of key accounting processes to ensure compliance with related accounting, reporting and regulatory requirements.  Manage our particular processes of our client’s operational structure, including the participating in impairment assessments and valuations.  Perform analysis of yields and income on certain investments.Prepare, review and analyze various analysis and reports for key customers using differing reporting perspectives (i.e., management, GAAP, STAT, Tax).

 


Essential Accounting Division Manager Skills & Characteristics

Education & Experience8-10 years of professional accounting and/or financial analysis experience 2-3 years of Investment experience, with focus on analysis preferredBachelor’s degree is required, preferably in Accounting CPA/CFA required; MBA is preferred 

Computer ProficiencyIntermediate to advanced Excel skills, Access, Outlook, Word, SAP or other general ledger applications Intermediate querying skills are a strong plus
