Accounting Coordinator

Olive Crest is seeking an Accounting Coordinator to be responsible for various accounting duties within the accounting department, such as banking, account reconciliations, research and special projects as needed.  Provide support and customer service to various programs with regards to payments received for clients and clothing allowances.JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:General accounting duties including:1.  Process and monitor client clothing requests.2.  Research past due receivables and follow-up with county representatives and case workers.3.  Prepare and take daily deposits to the bank. 4.  Provide backup support for accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll functions.5.  Assist with journal entries and account reconciliations.6.  Distribute daily mail within the accounting department.7.  Distribute accounts payable checks.8.  Assist with filing within the accounting department.9.  Complete special projects as needed. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:  1.  Experience with computerized accounting software, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Word  2.  General offices skills such as typing, filing and 10-key3.  Good communication  and interpersonal skills4.  Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.To apply, please send a resume to hr@olivecrest.org or fax one to 714-972-8952.  To learn more about Olive Crest or to view a complete list of current openings, please visit our web site at www.olivecrest.org.EOE Company: Olive Crest Location: Santa Ana, CA 92705 Salary/Wage: 16.00 - 17.00 USD /hourBenefits available after the first 90 days of full time employment.
