ACCOUNTABILITIES, INC., located in Manalapan, NJ and one of the preeminent and most innovative providers of specialized professional consulting, staffing and recruiting services to middle-market through Fortune 1000 companies, with offices nationwide, is seeking Accounting Consultants to join its team.

 

Controller-- The Controller will be responsible for handling multiple client engagements and staff simultaneously. The position will be responsible for supervising transaction processing performed by client or AAI personnel. The Controller will have full responsibility for all the client’s books and records.  Responsibilities will include the functional accounting areas for each respective client including inventory, payroll, a/p, a/r, cash management, equity and internal and external reporting requirements.  Reports to Client CFO/Account Executive and provides direct financial and operational support to both client management and account executive.  Must have 6-10 years public and private experience, SEC and SOX experience, CPA preferred.

 

Assistant Controller--The Assistant Controller will be on multiple client engagements.  The position will be responsible for supervising transaction processing performed by client or AAI personnel.  Responsibilities will include the financial accounting areas for each respective client including; cash, fixed assets, inventory, payroll, a/p, a/r, option tracking, capital table, bank covenants and reporting requirements.  The clients will range in industry from high tech to financial publishing to retailing.  Some clients are complex enterprises with global interests and others are emerging businesses facing funding and cash management challenges.  Clients can be either public or private companies. Must have 5-7 years public and private experience, 1 year SEC experience, SOX exp. and CPA preferred.

 

Senior Accountant--The Senior Accountant will be assigned multiple client engagements.  The position will be responsible for supervising transaction processing performed by client or AAI personnel.  Responsibilities will include the financial accounting areas for each respective client including; cash, fixed assets, inventory, payroll, a/p, a/r and reporting requirements. The clients will range in industry from high tech to financial publishing to retailing.  Some clients are complex enterprises with global interests.  Others are emerging businesses facing funding and cash management challenges.  Clients can be either public or private companies. Must have 4-6 years public and private experience, CPA desirable.

 

Staff Accountant-- The Staff Accountant responsibilities will include the functional accounting areas for each respective client including inventory, payroll, a/p, a/r and reporting requirements. The Staff Accountant will be required to distinguish between accrual and cash basis of accounting.   The clients will range in industry from high tech to financial publishing to retailing.  Some clients are complex enterprises with global interests.  Others are emerging businesses facing funding and cash management challenges.  Clients can be either public or private companies. Must have Bachelors in Accounting.

 

Junior Accountant--The Junior Accountant responsibilities will include the financial accounting areas for each respective client including; cash, fixed assets, inventory, payroll, a/p, a/r and reporting requirements.  The clients will range in industry from high tech to financial publishing to retailing.  Some clients are complex enterprises with global interests.  Others are emerging businesses facing funding and cash management challenges.  Clients can be either public or private companies. Must have Bachelors in Accounting.

 

Individuals must drive and be amenable to travel as they will cover clients in the tri-state area.
