Accounting Clerk - Government Contract on the Hill
Federal Agency has a long-term, temporary need for an Accounting Clerk to begin ASAP. This position is Moday - Friday, 8-5:30pm, and the duties include:
Performing financial data entry in a financial database system; answering inquiries to the fiancial office and /or routing calls to the appropriate staff member; assisting the financial staff with administrative tasks such as filing accounting documents, copying documents and faxing as needed.
Requirements include:
2-5 years accounting experience; thorough understanding of accounting procedures; data entry experience; A/P, A/R, and experience using a financial software a plus (PeopleSoft preferred).
Must be able to pass a background check and be available for immediate interview. This is a 40-hour work week, paid hourly plus 10-paid federal holidays! Please email your word version resume to jswann@themidtowngroup.com for immediate consideration.
