Accounting Clerk

A local call center is looking for an experienced full time Accounting Clerk to provide daily support of client invoicing, including but not limited to; reconciliation of point redemptions, review of transaction invoicing, research of payment variances, preparation of client billing – AR/AP. Assist with daily accounting functions.
Qualifications:
- 1 year + Accounting/Bookkeeping experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, and Outlook
- High school graduate—Associates degree preferred
- Attention to detail
- Ability to problem solve using analytical skills
- Excellent organizational skills including ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
- Ability to build relationships with customers, including strong communication skills via phone
- Ability to multi task in a fast paced environment
- Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills
- Travel Agency back office experienced preferred

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Reconcile weekly point redemptions and prepare client billing
- Research customer cancellations; process refunds as needed
- Research outstanding receivables for assigned clients
- Work with Account Management on processing issues
- Assist with special projects
- Provide backup support to others within the department
- Identify potential process improvements for department and assist with implementation
- Maintain data integrity of department
