Accounting Associate IV

JOB SUMMARY:

 Job candidate must provide quality service to internal customers and external suppliers  through timely and accurate payment of invoices.  Candidate must know the SEMATECH/ISMI AP Policy as well as understand general accounting procedures.  Must work well with customers, be detail oriented and well organized.  This job is challenging due to weekly/bi-weekly deadlines. 

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES and Percentage of time:50%   Process supplier invoices for payment, including obtaining of necessary approvals. 20%Lead bi-weekly AP check runs and maintain related  supplier files.15%  Resolve invoice issues and answer supplier inquiries.  5%  Reconcile and pay monthly procurement corporate card. 5%  Assist in Ad Hoc projects such as software upgrades. 5%  Back up other Accounting  Associate in processing employee reimbursements, assisting in bi-weekly check runs and maintaining expense report files as required by SEMATECH reimbursement guidelines.

 QUALIFICATIONS:Two years experience in a computerized accounts payable environment as well as general ledger accounting experience.  Experience with accounting software packages, computerized spreadsheets and word processing software.  Good organizational skills, ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines and work under pressure are a must.
