Accounting Assistant/Biller

The Renaissance Group, the future of insurance - today, has a wonderful opportunity for an Accounting Assistant./Biller.   In this role you will provide accounting and client service assistance and support in areas of accounts receivable, commission processing and direct bill commission statements.

 

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

 

Invoicing for agency commissions by providing timely and accurate processing of all carrier commission to agencies.

 

Invoice commission statements and work closely with accounting staff in the production of payment to agents.

 

Track and report on policy activity and carrier data captured in database. Activities include, but not limited to:Running agents monthly Production Analysis reportsRunning the Producer QC tool as well as performing manual Producer QC as neededRunning the Override Recalculation tool, as well as stripping overrides manually as needed

 

Assist with various invoice and statement research and/or invoicing corrections as directed by Invoicing Services Team Leader; as well as correction requests and inquiries received directly from agencies.

 

Manage and maintain commission statement tasks and documents in ImageRight as the Invoicing Services Team Leader assigns them.

 

Assist in the process of daily cash receipt posting to the general ledger.

Education and/or Experience:

1-2 years of Insurance agency and company accounting experience. Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school or one-two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, and individual would benefit from experience with Microsoft Excel Spreadsheet and Microsoft Word Processing software.  ImageRight experience preferred.
