Accountant - International Accounting
Accountant - International Accounting - Collection of Interfirm bills including resolution of disputed items. - Application of payments to and from member firms. - Assisting US offices in project set up and issuance of bills to member firms. - Assisting US offices in processing of bills from member firms and questions they may have about payment of those items or application of items to US engagements. - Prepare reports and answer questions concerning reports for US engagement teams as well as preparing reporting for member firms as needed. - Work often occurs with tight deadlines and requires multi tasking in order to complete work on schedule. - Accounting degree preferred or 2-5 years of related experience in the accounting field (A/P or A/R, general ledger or related other previous accounting experience) is necessary for applying proper accounting treatment to all transactions and for maintaining and reconciling accounts. Relevant Business & Technical Skills - Spreadsheet and database skills will be used. The successful candidate will have Excel skills and be able to perform functions such as pivot tables and macros. Prior experience using a database or educational coursework in a database use will be helpful. The successful candidate must be able to evaluate situations and apply corrective measures as needed. - Strong written and verbal communication skills are a requirement. About DeloitteDeloitte refers to one or more of Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu, a Swiss Verein, and its network of member firms, each of which is a legally separate and independent entity.
