OSRAM SYLVANIA has 22 manufacturing plants, one equipment assembly operation and twelve research and development laboratories, along with a network of sales offices and distribution centers serving all of the United States, Canada, Puerto Rico and Mexico. Most of the company's products are marketed in North and South America under the SYLVANIA or OSRAM brand name.


With minimal supervision, manage the day-to-day operational accounting processes for various benefit and insurance plans. Responsibilities include: monthly closings, financial and governmental reporting, analytical support for internal customers, budgeting, projects, plan payments and funding. Position involves regular interaction with a vast array of internal and external customers.
BS/BA required.
Three to seven years accounting, finance or related experience. New MBAs or MSAs welcome to apply.

The ability to communicate both verbally and in writing at various levels. Good perceptual and problem solving skills. Working knowledge of SAP, Microsoft Word and Excel required. Strong time management skills. Ability to work under minimum supervision on new assignments and limited supervision on state-of-the-art financial assignments.
