Location: Dallas, TX 75240Your location:home   »  find a job   »  advanced search   »  job description Apply Online Send this Job to a Friend We have a North Dallas client who is looking for an Accountant with experience in fixed assets.  This is an opportunity to work for an organization that is rapidly growing and future advancement opportunities exist as this company is known to promote from within.Job Description/Duties: The ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Prepares journal entries to record transactions to the general ledger and as related to fixed assets. Analyzes accounting variances and prepare variance explanation reports. Analyzes unrecorded assets and liabilities. Review and approve capital purchase requisitions. Manage and maintain fixed asset system, including regular additions, transfers and disposals. Prepare monthly reconciliation between fixed assets sub ledger and the general ledger. Prepare and distribute monthly capital spending and fixed assets analysis reporting using Excel. Provide supporting documentation and work directly with auditors as needed during annual audits on any issues relating to fixed assets. Prepare depreciation and amortization estimatesExperience: 2 to 5 years of experience (prefer 1 - 3 years in fixed assets) Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance Must have good analytical and accounting skills.   About Hudson Hudson delivers specialized professional recruitment, contract staffing, outsourced and project solutions worldwide.
