In this critical role, you will be working alongside the Corporate Accounting team to maintain the G/L of this powerhouse.  You should be innovative and strategic in your mindset.  Growth opportunities will exist for the right individual.

 

MAJOR RESPONSIBLITIES INCLUDE:

· Assist in the timely, accurate closing of the Corporation’s accounting systems and records

· Analyze, reconcile and post activity to general ledger accounts through active coordination with accounting personnel and system research.

·   Assemble, analyze and prepare formal summaries of activity in specific financial accounts. Provide explanations for changes and variances as necessary

· Assist with the preparation of consolidated financial reports for distribution to senior management

· Support reviews and audits of the Corporation’s accounting systems and records. 

· Assist management in investigating, documenting and improving internal controls and in maintaining the Corporation’s manual of accounting policies and proceduresPerform other special projects as determined and assigned



QUALIFICATIONS:

· Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance

· Three to five years experience in functions directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.

· Excellent written and oral communication skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervisionStrong analytical, organizational, and computer skills (advance excel).  Ability to multi task.  Detail oriented   Strong work ethic and desire to learn
