Accountant / Bookkeeper / Financial Reporter - Interviews in Chelsea on 9/2, 9/3, 9/4

This is a “high profile� opportunity with a World Class manufacturer.

 

A global manufacturer of luxury products seeks an experienced Accountant / Bookkeeper / Financial Reporter for their headquarters based in Chelsea. This is an opportunity for a self-starter who is interested in working as a core member with a view of expanding the accounting department. They are rapidly growing in North America and operate in 90 countries worldwide!

 

Responsibilities:

 

· All aspects of general accounting, including Debtors, Creditors, Payroll, Bank reconciliation; Employee expenses; Monthly Commissions; Asset Management; Debt collection; Organize payment structure and settle accounts accordingly.

· Maintain On-line banking system; daily monitoring of Bank accounts, organize supplier payments through this system

· Conducting reviews of general ledger accounting activity to ensure accruals, allocations, financial reporting;

· Responsible for monthly closing process;

· Group Monthly and Quarterly reporting by required date;

· Taking corrective action to maintain proper general ledger account balances;

· Responsible for helping to upgrade internal controls, policies & procedures;

· Supervise or organize the completion of all Statutory Reporting & Returns by required date;

· Communicates in a timely and open manner regarding concerns;

· Ability to work on multiple priorities in a time-sensitive environment;

· Maintain account reconciliations on all Key Expense Accounts;

· Special projects.

 

Required Qualifications:

 

· Degree in Accounting or similar field

· Excellent Communications Skills

·Minimum 2-5 years experience

· Problem solving and implementation solutions

· Excellent written & verbal communication skills

· SAP experience desired

 

 Salary Range:

· Salary is commensurate with experience
