SENIOR ACCOUNTANT

 

Description

We are a growing, busy local CPA firm looking to hire an experienced senior accountant.  Our clients include not for profit elderly housing projects, day care centers, assisted living facilities, manufacturers, retailers, construction contractors, and individual tax clients.  We are looking for an individual that has the ability to work independently and in a supervisory capacity.  The ideal candidate should have audit experience, as well as the ability to assist with our compilation, review and tax practice.  We are looking for an individual who is willing and able to grow with our practice, and wishes to advance in their career. 

 

The position is responsible for: Maintaining client and staff relationships Supervising and training staff Performs all services clients request, from tax and financial statement preparation to consulting and management advisory Supervises or prepares required government filings Builds and maintains long-term relationships with clients and the community

Candidate Qualifications:

Has attained the designation of Certified Public Accountant

Five years of public accounting experience

Oral and written communication skills

Strong interpersonal skills

Strong organizational skills

Ability to meet deadlines

Computer proficiency (Excel, Word, QuickBooks, trail balance, tax and research software)
