Accounts Receivable/Collection Associate

 

Housewares and home decor importer/distributor located in Central NJ is seeking an experienced AR associate.



Responsibilities:

 

Credit management and order approvalReview customer order for proper credit approvalMonitor customer shipments in relation to credit lineAssist in obtaining financial statements for urgent ordersReview vendor agreement for proper credit termsPeriodic checks between in-house reports & outside factor informationProcess credit cards Make independent credit decisions for certain customers

AR Collection Support factor’s collection effortPursue non-delivery claims with customers and common carriers.Negotiate settlement payments for charge-backs

 Qualifications:2-5 years related AR experienceExperience with big-box retailers essentialProficient in Microsoft Office Experience with AS400 helpfulStrong organizational skills and detail orientedAbility to work in quick-paced and challenging environment
