Account Manager PMC/SSP

The Account Manager (\"AM\") is a training-level position. The AM's primary responsibility is to assist the Account Executives with their Project Management. The basic function of the position is to be educated in the PostMerger CleanUp, Small Shareholder, Shareholder CleanUp, and Pre-Escheat Program business lines. This is accomplished by working directly with the Account Executives.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.

Train to analyze cost and potential revenue of programs
Train to create program strategy and structure and draft literature
Coordinate with print/mail house to distribute literature to shareholders
Understand how to maintain progress of inbound and outbound call campaigns through life of project - liaise with Call Group Managers
Coordinate with Back and Mid office to process requests from shareholders
Follow-up and coordinate with Transfer Agent regarding shares to be debited/credited - oversee the production of proceeds and refund checks.
Understand how to maximize revenue and minimize costs.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Bachelors Degree
Knowledge of Financial Industry and/or Mutual Funds
Must possess outstanding communication, problem solving and analytical abilities
Able to work independently as well as in a team environment
Must be dedicated and detail oriented
Must show leadership qualities
COMPUTER SKILLS
Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office applications ( i.e. Excel, MS Word and Access)
Working knowledge of publishing applications (QuarkXpress and Adobe Acrobat)
