ASSISTANT COMPTROLLER
MERCY HOME, a non-profit social services agency that serves the developmentally disabled seeks an; Assistant Comptroller
Responsible for analyzing various income and expense accounts. Verify allocations on invoices. Bank reconciliations. Assist with budget preparation. Budget analysis vs. actual results. Oversee billing process. Other duties as assigned by CFO. BBA/BS in Accounting or related field REQUIRED; MBA/MS preferred + 5 years of relevant work experience is REQUIRED. Understanding of GAAP and non-profit budget & financial reporting. Experience with Quick books and/ or Fund EZ. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel a must. Good organizational skills and intrapersonal skills. New York State Office of Mental Retardation & Developmental Disabilities (OMRDD) program knowledge a plus!
