AP Manager

Fortune 500 Fashion company with operations in the USA and Europe  is in search for an Accounts Payable Manager to supervise a team of 4.
•Responsible for managing accounts payable function in a professional and knowledgeable manner. (ie processing; cash planning; status of payment, escalation of non payment)
•Establish and maintain AP operating procedures and processes and communicate to staff.
•Management and control of payables vs. Purchase Requisitions and Budgets.
•Setup new vendor information including obtaining W-9 and communicating to Vendor.
•Vendor Maintenance.
•Monitor the queue of issues or requests.
•Follow-up on outstanding issues that are nearing service level commitment due dates.
•Manage special requests through the complete accounts payable process.
•Answer questions relating to the status of expense reports and invoices.
•Run and distribute department reports.
•Start and complete special accounts payable projects.
•Maintain, develop and update training material.

 

The AP Manager must be energetic, a self starter with strong analytical skills and able to work independently.
