A rapidly growing, well funded non-profit organization seeks a senior accountant to join its expanding team. This organization targets primarily youth promoting tolerance and encouraging more philanthropic communities. This person will be working directly with a senior finance individual and reporting directly to the executive director. This position and client offers professional and internal growth opportunities, opportunity to work side by side with executives, a fun, collaborative, enriching environment and interesting work.Responsibilities: All accounting functions to include financial statements, annual budget and financial packet for periodic board meetings. Communication of financials, variances, and areas for improvement to both the executive director as well as the organization’s board of directors. Qualifications: Candidates must have advanced communication and presentation skills. Must have a solid understanding of GAAP. Knowledge of internal controls and mandates for non-profit organizations. Possess a Bachelors degree in Business/Accounting. Be flexible, open minded and be intellectually curious. CPA’s or CPA candidates are encouraged, but not mandated.
