A/P ClerkDescription: Under general supervision, this position is responsible for the input, maintenance and communication for a specified area of Accounts Payable vendors. Acquire approvals on all invoices. Input data to generate checks and match checks to the remittance advice. Research discrepancies and ask for decisions regarding discrepancies. Reports to the Accounts Payable Supervisor. Requirements: An Associate's degree and one to three years experience in an accounts payable environment or the equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Individual must have math aptitude, be detail oriented, good communication skills and be able to work in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to ten-key by touch. (Retail, Purchase Order or AS400 skills a plus.)
