Duties include preparing and analyzing financial information to provide accurate and useful information to management for review and decision-making. Manages the fixed asset accounting system. Essential Functions *Prepare financial statements to include the monthly balance sheet, income statement and report on changes in financial position/budget variances and maintain related records.*Maintain the general ledger to include the preparation of journal entries, coding of invoices, account analysis and reconciliation, closing books monthly and setting up new accounts.*Reconcile and confirm all inter-company General Ledger accounts.*Review all monthly operating budgets and research and explain variances.*Prepare audit papers for outside yearly audits. Must have excellent analytical skills and internal customer service skills. AS400 experience a plus. Must be proficient in Microsoft office applications. Ability to effectively communicate financial information to appropriate management. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Ability to work long hours during quarter and year-end close is a must.
